Healthy Gluten Free Bean Burgers
I'm not against meat hamburgers, but I am for healthier options, and these are a great substitute for the real deal.

Instructions
For The Buns
  1. In a bowl mix the warm water, yeast, and sugar. Set aside and allow to bloom while you mix the remaining dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
  2. Once yeast mixture is bubbly (after about 5 minutes), add melted butter and eggs. Give a quick mix.
  3. Add half the dry mix to the wet and mix in completely before slowly adding more until all incorporated. Allow to rest 10-15 minutes. Dough will be really sticky. You can add more flour if you want, but it will make for a more dry bun.
  4. Split your doe into balls, shape your buns, and place on a cookie sheet. I do 6 large buns, but you could probably do about 8 normal buns or 18 sliders. Brush the tops with a whipped up egg (optional) and allow buns to rise in a warm place for 30 or so minutes.
  5. Bake buns at 350°F for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool a bit before slicing and preparing your burger.
For The Patties
  1. Mash beans with a potato masher. Some bean chunks are desirable for texture but they need to be mashed enough that they'll stick together somewhat.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. With the oat flour, start with a 1/4 cup and add more if you feel the mix is a bit runny.
  3. Form your patties and place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. I make 6 large patties.
  4. Bake in the oven at 375°F for 20 minutes. Add all your favorite fixings, serve with homemade fries and enjoy!
