Instructions
- Wrap 2 cookie sheets in tin foil (for easy clean up) and line each pan with a layer of tortilla chips, making sure to cover whole surface area.
- Evenly layer your chips with your veggie and meat ingredients (pepper, onion, avocado, olives, ground beef) trying to get at least a piece of each ingredient on every chip. It's time consuming but worth it in the end.
- Next sprinkle your favorite kind of shredded cheese evenly over the top, using the entire bag between both trays.
- Finally, drizzle cream cheese and BBQ sauce evenly over the top in desired amount. Best way to do this is to spoon each sauce into a zip lock bag, make a small cut in the corner of the bag, and squeeze it out. I generally add a tsp or two of water to the sour cream to make it flow much better from the bag.
- Heat the oven to 400°F and cook nachos for 5-10 minutes. It depends on how hot your oven gets or if you want to brown the cheese vs just melt it.
- Enjoy hot and ready, it won't keep well as left overs.
