Recipe Notes
*Par baking, prebakes the crust so that it's not soggy and raw when you put the filling in.
What is the oil for in the recipe?
I used olive oil but I’m sure you can use your oil of choice (coconut oil, butter . . .)
Why do pre-cook the pie shell? At what temperature?
What temperature should the pie be baked?
I improvised on the temperature, and the pie was good.
Pre-cooking the pie shell prevents it from being soggy. Cook crust and pie at 350°F.
